God has created us in His image. He has existed from the very beginning in community, and His first recorded revelation to mankind are these ten words: “It is not good for the man to be alone.”

Then, when He reveals Himself through Jesus, we see Jesus, very early on in all four gospels, choose a group of disciples to commit to.
