Description
How do we grow in our relationship with God? Being Challenge is a 40-day journey that will introduce you to the five keystone habits of Jesus and help you put His habits into practice in your own life. Following Jesus well starts with developing a closer relationship with God.
The best way to grow in our relationship with God is to learn from the only one, Jesus, who was in a perfect relationship with Him. As we look at the life of Christ, we recognize habits in His life that we, too, can practice. This book breaks down the days into habits and challenges you to further your relationship with God through developing and maintaining these five habits.
Become closer to God and practice the habits that will help you closely follow Jesus with The Being Challenge.
I liked learning more from Christ’s own words to me.
I loved this book. It made me stop and BE in the moment with God and when I did it last year (2020) my relationship with Jesus really blossomed. In fact, I got and dispersed about 10-15 books to share this with friends/family. Currently doing the Forgiveness Challenge and love where that’s taking me – only 13 days in! Speaking from experience this is full of clear and helpful illustrations that point us to the moments, situations, and the One who was in the closest relationship with God…. JESUS! If we are called to be like Christ then we should know how to aim for an actual life with Him!
Their is a spiritual hunger in our world that the Being Challenge helps tap into by introducing spiritual practices to a new generation that longs to follow Jesus and to live a life that is an “unforced rhythm of grace.” Whether you are a mature believer or just discovering who Jesus is the challenge will help you take your next step by not just giving you knowledge but inviting you to put the knowledge into practical practices and habits. While people want to grow in following Jesus many fail to actually begin and doing this together as an entire faith community is the perfect excuse to start something new as an individual, couple, and family. It was great way too for people exploring the church to connect in a deeper way with new intentional small groups both virtually and in person.
This challenge doesn’t require you to be perfect. The goal of this book is to grow: spiritually and emotionally. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to mature their faith.
